About program
Come join the fun as we run, jump, crawl, slide, swing, climb, stretch, tumble, balance, throw and explore! The Toddler Parent Program at NESA targets infants who are walking thru the age of three. Toddlers and parents attend class together and form a strong important bond thru social interaction.

It is within the Toddler Parent Classes that the adults are able to discuss topics of interest with other parents who have young children while the "little ones" are able to form positive relationships with children of a similar age.

Together the toddlers and parents are taken thru a variety of apparatus in the gym where useful concepts such as over/under, on/off, in/out,  and sit/stand are introduced along with creative ways of learning colors, shapes, directions, letters, and numbers. Challenging skills including rolling, headstands, handstands, cartwheels, and other forms of very basic tumbling are mastered.

Parents are taught proper spotting techniques making it simple to help practice skills in the child's very own home. Be sure to act quickly and set a strong fitness foundation for your Tumble Tot, for as we all know, these "incredible years" pass by way to quickly.

About program director
Svetlana Leeds
(781) 493-6345
Dr. Svetlana Leeds has been with NESA since before the doors were opened. Svetlana has a long history in the sport of gymnastics. Her mother Janie, a team coach, raised her in the gym. She qualified to the Junior Olympics twice and was offered a scholarship to compete gymnastics at Rutgers University, where she studied psychology.

After completing her undergraduate education Svetlana went onto earn a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in working with children, adolescents and athletes. Svetlana uses her education to create a positive development environment in the gym for the competitive and non-competitive athletes who participate in her programs. She also conducts trainings for the staff to create an over-all psychologically, emotionally and physically stimulating environment at NESA.
