Need a good workout while your kid is at class? Join the Movement Boston to get in shape in no time! We offer a variety of classes for adults and teenagers that are specifically geared to each person’s individual need.

Not only will you doing circuit training with sandbags, kettlebells, push sleds, and tire swings; but you will get an online fitness tracking program as well!

You’ll learn how to rip those phone books in no time!

Movement Coach: Sport Specific Training

Michael Sheehan was a college-athlete at UCONN as a Division I Hockey player. Mike is a Bio-Mechanics Level 1 movement coach, competitive grip sport athlete and uses an intuitive, holistic, and bodies biofeedback. He competed at the Frostbit Grip Challenge in Minnesota where he placed 3rd in the Open Division. With Mike's bootcamp classes and individual sessions, he provides gait analysis and adapilfer tracking file (to see your improvement).

Mike teaches old time feats of strength as well as phone book ripping, steal bending, and card tearing. Some of the techniques used in classes include:

  • Battling Ropes
  • Sandbells
  • Sandbags
  • Free Weights
  • Kettlebells
  • Atlas stones
  • Strongman stones
  • Prowlers
  • Push sleds
  • Grip sport anvils
  • Tolsion grippers


During the day, Mike works as MBTA trackman and you can often see Mike throughout the gym on his days off as his daughter has been a NESA gymnast for many year.
