Ages 7 and up

The students will learn the elements of art:  line, space, shape, color, texture, and form.  Every project will incorporate one or more of the elements.   They will eventually build upon this knowledge in order to create art surrounding their own interests.  In addition to creating art, the students will learn some art history that pertains to the current project.  This knowledge helps the students understand how and why artists create art in today’s world.
