Mike Nosky has been coaching youth sports since 2005. He started out coaching softball at the U-10 level before
moving up to U-12 and finally to U-14. He has coached Spring, Fall and Summer travel teams and has coached multiple
championship teams. In 2008, he moved over to baseball and began coaching for Dedham Youth Baseball.
In two seasons (one Fall and one Spring), his teams have won two championships. He is also the coach for the
Dedham Middle School Softball team. In 2009, DMS went 11-0 in Mike’s first season at the helm. Mike grew up playing
baseball for Parkway Little League and many of the skills he learned in his time there are what he teaches to his
players today. In 1985, Mike was one of the stars on the Parkway Little League travel team (Mike Melling All Stars),
which traveled to tournaments as far away as Palmyra and Riverton, New Jersey. He enjoyed a terrific High School
career, and on May 25, 1992, Mike was recognized as the third leading batter in Eastern Massachusetts as he
hit .561 for his senior season, while also having the second lowest ERA in his division, while pitching for
Hyde Park High School.
About the Program
At ‘Grand Slam Baseball and Softball Academy’ we stress sound fundamentals of the games that we all grew up loving to play. Every coach preaches that they will teach their students the fundamentals, but how many actually know how to coach them? ‘Grand Slam Baseball and Softball Clinics’ have varied methods for fielding grounders, shagging flys, throwing, pitching and, of course, hitting. These methods have been proven to work on the field time and time again and, more importantly, they have been proven to work on kids of all ages. Baseball and softball are meant to be fun and nothing makes it more fun than when you have the confidence in your ability to play the game and play it the right way. Neither sport is easy to play. Give yourself the best chance to improve your game by signing up for ‘Grand Slam Baseball and Softball Clinics’.
The soccer teacher is phenomenal!!!! What a wonderful person and teacher! Thank you so much for arranging for him to teach here!
