NESALAX is a proud partner with the professional indoor lacrosse team the
Boston Blazers! New England Sports Academy will be hosting 1 0n 1 advanced
skills clinics with a professional from the Blazers! Also, as part of this
relationship all NESA families will be able to purchase discounted tickets
to Blazers home games at the TDGarden and all NESALAX enrollements receive
one free ticket to a home game this season!
NESA LAX Program Director – Wes Chisholm is a recent graduate from Brandeis University, who has played lacrosse all his life. From New Hampshire state championships to MVPs to All-State honors, Wes has achieved a lot in his lacrosse career and has even more to offer as a coach.
About the Program
The mission of NESA LAX is to promote a community-wide love for the game of lacrosse. Through our intensive skills clinics, players will have fun learning the skills they need in order to be prepared for higher levels of competition.
Program Description
Lacrosse is the greatest sport in the world. Here at NESA LAX, we are all about having fun playing lacrosse. Whether your children are new to the game, or seasoned ballers, we have a training program for them. NESA LAX is dedicated to providing a fun introduction to the game, as well as high quality coaching that can suit your child at any level. Every athlete that goes through training with NESA LAX will leave with a new and improved set of skills as well as love for lacrosse, the greatest game in the world.
Class Descriptions
Termites 4-7
We want to provide a fun introduction to the game of lacrosse. No contact what so ever, all fun and fundamentals; cradling, scooping, passing, and shooting.
Mites 8-9
Introducing limited contact. While maintaining our focus on fundamentals, NESA LAX will introduce the art of the dodge as well as groundball drills and other game scenarios.
Squirts 10-11
Squirts will continue to hone their fundamentals with both hands, and learn to play with contact. Groundball, fast break and 6 on 6 drills will put all their skills to the test in scrimmage scenarios.
Peewees 12-13
Become the walk-on varsity freshman for your high school LAX team. Take your skills to the next level with challenging sets of focused drills that will help make you an elite player.
Bantams 14+
Want that extra edge to help your game out on the high school level? At NESA LAX we know what it takes to be a competitive player. Through a series of skills training exercises, we can help you elevate your game to where it needs to be.
