| Program Director: Jeremiah Washington |
|
Jeremy Washington has been a dedicated photographer for most of his adult life and even though he is only a High School Senior, his
professional experiences include Hub Freerunning of Boston's official photographer and team Sanjuu's photographer at the Red Bull Art
of Motion 2010. He is also a high school photographer and has had multiple photos appear in local newspapers. His artistic work has
won awards, and he runs a small business of private portraiture for budding artists.
Jeremy started with a simple point and shoot and quickly knew that he wanted to make a career out of this passion. Through determination,
Jeremy has taught himself over those years everything from the basics of composition, lighting, and camera function to advanced psychological
aspects of photography. He has become adept in various types of photography from Black and White, to Sports, to Street Photography and Lomography.
For this young creator, photography is not about having the most expensive camera or the best equipment, but rather about passion and art that
transcends borders and generations.

| About The Program |
|
Instructor's philosophy and teaching principle is that regardless of the type of equipment one uses to capture the moment, it wasn't the
camera that took the picture; it was the artist behind it that saw the beauty in their surroundings. Anyone can take beautiful pictures
and Jeremy can teach you the simple tricks to do so.
Program will focus on teaching the students the simple steps of good photography and the tricks of the trade that make for good composition
and effective lighting. Students will experience the art of photography by being exposed to various creations by other artists, travelling
to exhibitions, and participating in local competitions.
Classes are forming now so reserve your spot in a free trial.

My son Cole (15) has been enrolled in the homeschool program on Tuesdays for 2 or 3 years now. He loves it! He takes gymnastics and parkour regularly and has taken science, math, and chess in the past. He also appreciates open gym! I also appreciate open gym because I usually get some exercise in while Cole is in class or playing. I also appreciate the parents and staff, who are friendly and interesting to talk to when I feel like socializing. I highly recommend NESA to everyone!
